The "Stiltman" who walked across Michigan on stilts to raise money for charity!

   Yes, Neil is the man you may have seen on the road or on the news in the spring of 2008 during his 830 mile stiltwalk from Toledo, OH, to Ironwood, MI.  Travelling approximately 20 miles each day of walking, the trip took eight weeks to complete.

   The trip raised over $80,000 for United Cerebral Palsy of Michigan.  The funds were used to help people with disabilities afford assistive technology to allow them to live independently.

World Record holder for fastest marathon on stilts!

    In October of 2008 Neil completed the Grand Rapids Marathon on stilts in 6 hours and 32 minutes.  A full two hours faster than the current Guinness Record.  Neil's application process to get in the "World Book of Records" is underway. 

Live appearance on the "CBS early show!"

    In July of 2008, Neil made a guest appearance on the CBS early show to discuss his recently completed stiltwalk across Michigan.  His live performance also included juggling in front of a national audience 

Featured in "Ripley's Believe it or Not"

    Following his walk across Michigan, Ripley's purchased the stilts Neil wore for the first 600 miles of his journey so that they could put them on display in one of their famous museums.  Neil has also been featured in RIpley's newspaper publications.
